APNA Privacy Statement and Cookie Policy

As part of registration for any APNA service, you will need to read and agree to this Privacy Statement. A copy of APNA's Cookie Policy can be found attached to the bottom of this page. 

The Australian Primary Health Care Nurses Association (APNA) Ltd. is committed to protecting the privacy and security of your personal information. APNA handles this information in accordance with its Privacy Policy, which you can find attached at the bottom of this page.

The personal information you provide may be used by APNA to:

• process applications for membership and membership renewals
• manage memberships and subscriptions to of APNA and APNA services
• process applications for enrolment in events and/or other products and services offered by APNA
• record and maintain membership and subscription details and profile information
• provide information on services and benefits available to nurses
• notify nurses about APNA events
• ensure compliance with APNA's Constitution and legal requirements.

APNA may disclose the personal information you provide to:

• education providers and organisations involved with or engaged by APNA
• financial institutions for payment processing
• APNA members and users on an APNA online community
• APNA's contracted service providers, including:
  • professional conference organisers;
  • information technology service providers;
  • printers and mail house of our publications and collateral;
  • external business advisers (such as auditors and lawyers); and
  • database providers.

Please note that APNA will not disclose your personal information to any third party unless stated above or authorised or required by law (including the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth)). All third party correspondence and promotions are coordinated and sent out by APNA and APNA suppliers.

Payments

APNA processes membership and other payments using Stripe and other online technologies. All transactions processed by APNA meet industry security standards to ensure member details and payments are protected.

Access and correction of your personal information

Please contact APNA if you would like to access or correct the personal information that we hold about you. APNA will provide you with access to your personal information at no charge and will take reasonable steps to amend any personal information that is incorrect.
