Learn about APNA’s Nursing in Primary Health Care Program, a three year Commonwealth funded program designed to increase recruitment, retention and employment opportunities for primary health care nurses.
Learn with and from your peers at the Nurseforce for the Future abstract sessions
Check out the descriptions of the presentations lighting up the Friday Abstracts and Saturday Abstracts
Abstracts are a chance for nurses from the different walks of primary health care to share their knowledge and experience with their peers. It is also an opportunity for those working in, studying and servicing aspects of primary health care, but not necessarily in the role of a nurse, to speak to an audience of their stakeholders - nurses!
Following a record number of abstracts submissions for APNA’s 10th Annual National Conference, a rigorous review has resulted in an outstanding selection of presentations.
Case studies, practices, interventions, projects and reflections from primary health care nursing were called for in line with the Nurseforce for the Future theme and exploring the conference streams:
- Models of Care
- Workforce: Development, Recruitment and Retention
- Quality and Safety
- Embracing Change.
From the tip of Tassie all the way to Christmas Island; nurses leading the way in Mental Health, CDM and Quality Improvement – Australia-wide contributions reflect the diversity of abstracts on show.
Updates are being made daily to ensure the program is current.
Thank you to all who made a contribution to the Nurseforce abstracts - we appreciate your time, thought and hard work in preparing your abstract submission.
