Learn with and from your peers at the Nurseforce for the Future abstract sessions
Abstracts are a chance for nurses from the different walks of primary health care to share their knowledge and experience with their peers.
Submissions are currently open for abstracts - why not throw your hat in the ring!
Sessions and poster presentations will showcase case studies, research, projects, interventions etc. that illustrate innovation, proficiency and/or leadership in primary health care nursing that can be adopted in similar settings.
Posters will be on display throughout the conference, Thursday 10 to Saturday 12 May 2018, and authors will be manning their posts during specific meal breaks to discuss any questions or points of interest amongst delegates.
Accepted abstracts will run in concurrent sessions following Morning Tea on Friday 11 and Saturday 12 May. Each abstract will be grouped into 1 of the 5 streams stemming from the conference theme, Nurseforce for the Future, and allocated approximately 20 minutes to present, with around 4 abstracts presented in each session.
Abstract streams will centre around:
- Models of care
- Workforce development, recruitment and retention
- Quality and safety
- Embracing change
Successful abstracts accepted to be presented at Nurseforce for the Future will be announced in early February 2018.
