Are you new to nursing in primary health care or want to support someone who is?
APNA TPP is available for nurses new to primary health care to purchase privately through funding provided via Health Workforce Agencies Scholarship Programs or PHNs. See the Funding Available section at the end of this page for more information.
Nurse Practitioners, Registered or Enrolled Nurses looking for support during their transition to a PHC workplace and who fit into one of the following categories:
Graduate Nurses already employed in a PHC workplace: Graduated from tertiary studies in the last two years
Experienced Nurse employed in a PHC workplace and seeking additional support: Has three or more years' experience in nursing and has transitioned (or is transitioning) into a PHC workplace.
Registered Nurse or Nurse Practitioner with at least four years of relevant and recent PHC experience. Mentors are not required to work in a PHC setting but must have worked in a PHC setting or related field in the last two years. Mentors are funded $2,400 to provide a minimum of 40 hours of clinical and professional mentoring (direct and/or indirectly) over six months to a maximum of five nurses.
There are three intakes throughout the year for APNA's Transition to Practice Programs, with a choice of two online programs (Supported TTP and Induction to PHC):

If funded via a Health Workforce Bursary, follow the below instructions
Select ‘Invoice’ under ‘Payment Method’ - You won’t need to pay anything at this stage. Once your application is assessed and processed, your health workforce provider will provide payment if your application is approved. See How to apply or check eligibility section for more information per state.

This invoice can then be provided with your application for funding via health workforce or other scholarship providers
