Your State or Territory Rural Workforce Agency administers the Health Workforce Scholarship Program which provides scholarships and bursaries to help health professionals in rural and remote Australia retain and enhance their skills, capacity and scope of practice.
Bursary applications for the November 2025 intake have now closed, and successful applicants have been notified.
The CDMHA First Nations Nurse Program Fee Bursary is intended to support the participation of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander nurses (Enrolled Nurses, Registered Nurses and Nurse Practitioners) in the Nursing in Primary Health Care (NiPHC) Chronic Disease Management and Healthy Ageing (CDMHA) program. Contact Your Workplace: Reach out to your direct manager, practice manager, or HR department to enquire about available support for professional development.
Submit a Request: You may need to submit a formal request for financial support by email or letter. We have created an easy-to-use template to help get you started.
