APNA Education Bursary Bundles

Continuing professional development is a vital part of your career as a nurse. By doing the right education, you can enhance your skills, build your knowledge and ultimately grow your scope of practice.

APNA has created three in-depth education bundles to help nurses in Queensland upskill. These bundles are a mix of self-guided learning, face-to-face education (including registration to the APNA Conference Roadshow) and expert support to help you along the way.

If you’re a nurse who works in rural or remote Queensland, or work in a Queensland Aboriginal Medical Service (AMS) or a Queensland Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Service (ACCHS), you may be eligible to access the 12-months of fully-funded education.

The Bursary Bundles are supported by Health Workforce Queensland through the Health Workforce Scholarship Program. If you work elsewhere in Australia, APNA is currently in discussion with each state-based Rural Workforce Agency and will hopefully be able to offer the same in-depth education Australia-wide soon. Subscribe to The Connect newsletter to find out when they become available to your state.
