This two-part workshop will build your confidence in chronic condition management through a focused workshop for primary health care nurses. Explore patient-centred care, behaviour change strategies and care planning to support improved outcomes across complex, real-world clinical scenarios.

Whole-Person Wound Care: From Principles to Practice

This two-part workshop explores whole-person wound care and will cover wound aetiology, tissue types, exudate & oedema, perfusion, biofilm, pain, risk screening, diabetes, vascular disease, frailty, cognition, nutrition, hydration, mobility, continence/skin protection, psychosocial care; culturally safe practice; shared decision-making.

Navigating Burnout: Practical Strategies to Support Wellbeing

  • Friday 31st July

This workshop places your wellbeing at the centre, helping you recognise burnout, build strategies to manage it and reconnect with why you do what you do. You'll learn how to recognise the signs and impact of burnout, apply practical strategies to support wellbeing and access resources and supports when needed.

Leadership in nursing is not just about being in charge. It is about how you show up in the moments that matter — whether you have formal authority or not. This practical two-hour workshop focuses on the everyday skills that help you lead with clarity, confidence and impact.

Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Essentials

  • 2-hour Workshop
  • Saturday 1st August

This workshop covers the essential CPR knowledge and practical skills to recognise and respond to emergency situations, assess and manage an unconscious person who is not breathing, use an AED, and act safely and effectively.
