The Festival of Nursing is an annual international conference for nurses, hosted in Australia. Register now to join us in Brisbane from 24 to 26 July 2025. 

The Festival of Nursing 2025 will be held at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre. 

How to get here

The Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre has three entrances.  The Main Entrance on the corner of Merivale & Glenelg Streets, the Grey Street Entrance, and the Exhibition Entrance at the corner of Melbourne & Merivale Streets. Venue maps can be downloaded from the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre website.

A comprehensive network of trains, buses and city cats (ferries) link the Centre with Brisbane city and suburbs. Translink tickets are the best way to visit and travel around the city. Visit the Translink website for more details.

Train

The closest train station is South Brisbane; only a few minutes walk away. A regular Air Train service operates between Brisbane’s international and domestic airports. Travelling time is approximately 25mins. 

Bus

The Cultural Centre is the main hub for most bus routes, only a few minutes walk away adjacent to the Queensland Performing Acts Centre. A free City Loop downtown bus service circles Brisbane’s Central Business District only.

River Cat

The CityCat Ferry stops at Southbank Terminal 2 which is located on the Clem Jones Promenade. CityCats run daily from 5.30am-10.30pm.

Taxi

A dedicated taxi rank is located at the main entrance of the Centre on the Cnr Merivale and Glenelg Streets. Taxis are also accessible in other locations in the South Bank precinct including the hotels – Rydges and Mantra.
