Nursing Australia Week

Nursing Australia Week 2021 aimed to provide nurses some respite from the intensity of their professional duties as the COVID pandemic continued. Run from Monday 22 November to Friday 26 November, Nursing Australia Week was billed as ‘a week of entertainment, education and energy – free for all nurses’.

Each day of Nursing Australia Week, nurses registered received three podcast:

  • A morning wake-me-up:  To put a spring in their step and a laugh in their belly.
  • The latest information at lunchtime: Giving them everything they needed to know from COVID and nursing experts. An easy way to top up their CPD.
  • An uplifting evening wind down: Designed to inspire and share the stories of nurses doing amazing things.

Delivered in an accessible podcast format, there was no need for nurses to sit in front of a computer, they could join on their smartphone wherever they were and whatever they were doing.
