This workshop is supported by funding from Murray PHN through the Australian Government’s PHN Program. This is an exclusive event for primary health care nurses in the Murray PHN catchment.

If you are not in the Murray PHN catchment, please keep an eye on the Chronic Disease Management and Healthy Ageing program page for an upcoming workshop that suits you.

Not sure what Primary Health Network you're a part of? The Murray PHN catchment includes areas such as:

  • Bendigo
  • Castemaine
  • Mildura
  • Cobram
  • Wangaratta
  • Mansfield
  • Corryong

Just to name a few. Click here to find out your PHN.

Registering for this workshop is the first step in APNA's Chronic Disease Management and Healthy Ageing Program. The highly engaging and interactive session will guide you through optimising healthy ageing, strategies and tools, developing therapeutic relationships with clients, communication and health literacy, goal setting and loads more.

How to register: Click on the register link next to 'member' or 'non-member' above. This will take you through the registration process. While this program is free for nurses in the Murray PHN catchment, we still need to generate an 'invoice' for $0.

Spots are limited so get in quick!

Are you in a rural or remote area and feel that you will need to travel to attend the workshop? Check out Rural Workforce Agency Victoria to see if you are eligible for the Health Workforce Scholarship bursary.
