Do you see people with alcohol-related liver disease (ALD)?

Novo Nordisk® is seeking your collaboration in a clinical trial that aims to explore new therapeutic avenues for alcohol-related liver disease (ALD). This trial is a part of its ongoing efforts to advance medical care and offer new hope to patients struggling with this condition.

Trial overview
The NN9500-7730 trial investigates the effects of zalfermin, cagrilintide and semaglutide, alone or in combination, on ALD. These therapies are being investigated for their potential to improve liver damage and reduce alcohol consumption.

Participant criteria
Novo Nordisk® is looking for participants who have a history of alcohol use for more than five years, consuming at least 3–4 drinks on average per day, and who exhibit deranged liver function tests (LFTs) or other signs of suspected liver damage.

The impact of your role
As a nurse, your front-line perspective and patient relationships are invaluable in identifying individuals who may be suitable for this clinical trial. By sharing information about this trial, you can play a crucial role in advancing our understanding and management of ALD.
