APNA Board member steps down

28 March 2022

Patrice Cafferky has stepped down from the APNA Board.

It is with regret APNA has received Patrice Cafferky’s resignation as a Board Director. Patrice remains committed to APNA’s vision for nurses working in all areas of primary care in Australia.

Patrice has taken this decision as part of changes to her professional commitments, which includes multiple roles such as Board Member for Brisbane South PHN, Chair of Peach Tree Perinatal Wellness and APNA’s representative on Queensland Health’s QLD Clinical Senate.

Patrice was elected to the APNA Board in May 2021 and APNA thanks Patrice for her contribution during this time.

This creates a vacancy on the APNA Board and will be put to an election in this year’s APNA Board election which will begin with nominations in April.

The Australian Primary Health Care Association acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of country throughout Australia and their connections to land, sea and community.
