When 45% of nurses reported feeling regularly or sometimes isolated, alone or lacking support from other nurses in our 2019 Workforce Survey, APNA heard you loud and clear.

We’ve been cooking up your newest member benefit, the APNA Online Community, which is a space for members to seek support, advance their knowledge, and share their own wisdom.

From aged care to general practice, nurse practitioners to new nurses—you’ll be able to find your crowd on the APNA Online Community.

But wait, there’s more! The APNA Online Community is not only a forum, but also a member directory, a news hub, an events calendar, and a video library—all in one spot.

How to start using the APNA Online Community

Login to the APNA Online Community using your member details. You can reset your password if you've forgotten it.

Once logged in, click on your profile in the top right corner, and click on 'Settings'. Before you start navigating the APNA Online Community, you'll need to update your details.

You see, we’ve become quite tech savvy while working from home for a year, and with some website wizardry, we’ve linked your APNA details (i.e., career, work, and position settings) to the different Online Community forum groups you can see and belong to.

To access your relevant APNA Online Community groups, click the blue 'Update My Details' button in your Settings section and update your details.

Now it's time to start using your newest member benefit—upload a profile picture, connect with members in the directory, and post a question, resource, video, or advice.
