APNA Career and Education Frameworks for Nurses in Primary Health Care

Funded by the Australian Government Department of Health, APNA’s Career and Education Frameworks for Nurses in Primary Health Care aim to improve the recruitment and retention of the nursing workforce within primary health care. The Registered Nurse and Enrolled Nurse Frameworks and associated tools have been developed to improve and promote the employment opportunities, build capacity and support the transferability of nursing skills across primary health care settings.

The Frameworks embedded in MyNursingFuture.com.au are designed for access on smartphones, allowing nurses to navigate primary health care career and education pathways with ease. MyNursingFuture.com.au re-engineers primary health care as a first choice career option and authentically represents the range of career and education opportunities available to nurses of all skill levels and backgrounds.
