Australia needs more skilled, confident primary health care nurses. By hosting a student nurse through our program, you and your workplace can play a vital role in showing tomorrow’s nurses why primary health care is the place to be after graduation.

As a partner, you can send the following email, with your filled in information, and one of our posters to workplaces in your network:

Subject: Exciting partnership with APNA's National Nursing Clinical Placement Program 

Dear [Area Manager],  

We are thrilled to announce that [Medical Group Name] has partnered with the Australian Primary Health Care Nurses Association (APNA) to participate in the National Nursing Clinical Placement Program (NNCPP).  

The NNCPP streamlines undergraduate nursing student placements and provides support to registered nurse supervisors and clinics who participate.  

Participating in the NNCPP offers many benefits.  

• Your nursing team are fully supported every step of the way with training, guidance and resources to ensure placements run smoothly.  

• Flexible 2 to 4-week placements that provide financial incentives and future workforce growth opportunities  

• All administration and logistics are handled by the experienced team at APNA
