APNA Graduate Programs

Starting your nursing career in primary health care settings can be daunting without support. That’s why APNA has developed the Primary Health Care Nursing Graduate Program, to help nurses thrive in their new roles

Building on the success of other APNA programs like Transition to Practice, our evidence-based model supports graduate nurses to build their confidence, knowledge, and skills through tailored learning opportunities.

How it works

The program is delivered over 12 months. It includes concentrated online learning and mentor training for nurse supervisors.

Your graduate nurses will have access to:

  • Four core learning modules
  • Two elective learning modules
  • Over 200 hours of education
  • A Community of Practice

Your workplace nurse supervisors will have access to:

  • Virtual mentor training for supervisors
  • Access to mentor learning modules via Kineo

APNA will provide your executive team with valuable insights through regular progress reports, maximizing your investment.
