Primary healthcare nurses have an important role in providing treatment and services to the veteran community. Up to 6,000 personnel leave the Australian Defence Force (ADF) each year, including around 20% for medical reasons.

Department of Veterans' Affairs Toolbox trial

The Department of Veterans’ Affairs (DVA) is currently testing a new DVA Toolbox for Coordinated Veterans’ Care (CVC), which supports medical clinics and practitioners who enrol and care for DVA clients in the CVC Program. Health professionals are invited to access and trial the toolbox during the testing phase.
